In an effort to address the affordable housing shortage in Beirut, Think Housing competition sought innovative proposals for inclusive urban housing options that challenge the dominant models of urban development, by reversing ongoing displacements of low and middle-income residents from the city. Based on the countless testimonies from residents of Beirut’s various neighborhoods, and with the participation of a large number of professionals, experts and students, the book presents real options that would meet the needs and aspirations of everyone who feels that this city is theirs and that they have the right to live and stay in it.
