Saving AnNaqoura: The last witness of how the Lebanese coast once was

Located in the region liberated from the Israeli occupation, private property lot number 92, had witnessed the illegal bulldozing and destruction of the neighboring marine ecosystem.

The pressure to stop works on Property 92 was productive, but It is our responsibility to follow up with it with steps to protect the coast of Naqoura, as a natural area representing the last witnesses to what the natural landscape of the Lebanese coast was like, before it was subjected to destruction as a result of privatization practices and investments. This is necessary specifically following the meeting of the Parliamentary Environment Committee, which ended with the acquittal of the Ministry of transport and public works, which had given approval to the lot 92 sea reclamation operations.
